Units Hub

Welcome to the Units Hub for Build a Medieval Army (Medieval War Tycoon by ZedCo). Here we organize soldiers by role—flag pressure, base anchor, hill control, prestige exclusive—so you stop buying names and start building armies. Navigation uses Units because that is what you actually manage in this tycoon.

Pages in this hub

  • Army Roster — roles across standard recruits and notable soldiers.
  • Prestige Units — exclusives unlocked through prestige progression.
  • Badges & Milestones — Roblox welcome, time, and kill badges versus real power.

Also claim the free soldier with How to Get the Free Praetorian. Cross-rank combat value on the Troops Tier List and Robux soldiers on the Gamepasses Tier List.

How units connect to gameplay

Your army exists to support the economy war:

  1. Create openings to steal flags and escort them home for cash.
  2. Defend your base so rivals cannot farm you.
  3. Contest the hilltop flag for +20% income.
  4. Grow strong enough to prestige into exclusives without collapsing.

A unit that looks elite in a screenshot but cannot help those jobs is a trophy, not a plan. Learn the loop in How to Play, then return here to specialize.

Free and account boosts that act like units

Praetorian (ZedCo group). Join the group for a free Praetorian soldier. It is one of the best early efficiency gains in the game—full steps on How to Get the Free Praetorian.

Premium (+10% cash). Not a unit, but it funds more units every minute you play well.

Codes. Cash and prestige codes change how fast you can field higher tiers. Start at the Codes Hub and How to Redeem Codes. pres1234 (when active) adds prestige progress that leads toward exclusives.

Role language we use

  • Anchors — stay near objectives (gate, hill) and win messy melees.
  • Pressure — create pick opportunities and punish isolated defenders.
  • Volume — clones, squads, buffs that flood space.
  • Siege / specialty — catapults, Sky Fort style tools, niche answers.
  • Exclusives — prestige-gated centerpieces.

When you rebuild after a wipe, assign roles first, names second. How to Defend Your Base and How to Capture Flags tell you which roles you were missing.

Prestige as a unit unlock track

Prestige is how exclusive units enter your account fantasy. Do not treat it like a cosmetic toggle. Use How to Prestige and the Income Prestige Planner so your first exclusive arrives with a rebuild plan. Details live on Prestige Units.

Gamepass soldiers to know by name

Heavy Soldier, Assassin Soldier, Heal Spell (support), Berzerker Giant, Sky Fort, Archer Squad (+4), Troop BUFF, Roman Legion, Giant ZED, Cloned Troops, Spartan Soldier, Catapult Troop. These are purchase decisions as much as roster lines—rank them before buying.

How to study units without wasting sessions

Pick one role to improve per day. Monday: home anchors. Tuesday: flag escorts. Wednesday: hill wave. Track whether deaths fall. Use Early Game Income so you can afford replacements. Avoid scripts that promise perfect armies; ban risk is outlined on Scripts Hub.
